DNR Congress is committed to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy in our
Congressional Vitality Index scores and member research. All factual claims are based
on publicly available information from credible sources.
How We Research
We verify all factual claims using:
- Official government records (Congress.gov, GovTrack, FEC, Ethics Committees)
- Tier 1 news sources (New York Times, Washington Post, Associated Press, Reuters)
- Tier 2 political outlets (Politico, The Hill, Roll Call)
- Watchdog organizations (CREW, Campaign Legal Center)
All sources are hyperlinked in our research documents.

If you believe we've made a factual error in any of our scores or member profiles:

Our Process
1. We investigate all correction requests within 48 hours
2. If we confirm an error, we correct it immediately on the website
3. We add a correction notice at the bottom of the affected page
4. We email you confirmation when the correction is made
Important Notes
- Our CVI scores represent our analysis and opinion based on publicly available information
- Disagreement with our methodology or conclusions is not a factual error
- We correct errors of fact, not differences of interpretation
Transparency
All corrections are noted publicly on affected pages with:
- Date of correction
- Description of what was corrected
- Original source of error (if applicable)
